big news or Not? RR leaving town?
I wish I could document more here... The classified sections of the Binghamton Press Sun Bulletin has a legal announcement today Friday, Sept 15th. Notice is being given that our favorite and local RR company New York Susquehanna & Western Railroad (aka Rich from Cooperstown) is abandoning the track from south of Utica to Chenango Forks. A map of little detail is printed in the ad. For $20 you may send for the real information and map from the address printed. I can't find a link to the ad on their web site. (Since other classifieds are printed, the legals should be there, somewhere...)
