henderson lake

I am feeling bad for the industrial areas of new york state. Years ago, upstate New York looked something like Henderson Lake. Henderson Lake is the reason why I thanked George Pataki for what he has done for the Adirondacks. George did not do it without help from other supporters of the Adirondacks. Thanks to all that helped make Henderson Lake part of the Adirondack wild forest. Let's not let other places slip away -- we don't want just ONE Henderson Lake.

I "borrowed" this photo from a New York State Web site (non-commercial) - http://www.apa.state.ny.us/Press/_assets/image008.jpg
